Gasing Festival 2013

UPM, Serdang –Gasing Festival Program 2013 is organized by Arts and Culture Centre of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah UPM Serdang with cooperation of National Arts and Culture Department and Gasing Malysia Federation (PEGAMA) was held on 30 November 2013 and 8 Disember 2013 which took place at Engineering Faculty and Main Hall, Arts and Culture Centre Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah UPM Serdang.

The program is graced by the poefromance of the invitedartist, Ms. Heliza Helmi a celebrity from Akademi Fantasia season 5. Also graced by the performances from Permata dance groups which is a dance group inspired by the Malaysian Prime Minister's wife. Among the activities of the program are gasing competition national level, workshop, exhibition from National Muzium and arts and culture performances.The main event of the night is the handing ceremony of symbolic UPM polymer gasing to the National Department of Culture and Arts next to the Ministry

The ceremony was officiated by Hon. Datuk Norliza Rofli, Director General of the National Department of Arts and Culture, Hon. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shatar Sabaran, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni
UPM and Mr. Sabri Abu Bakar, Assistant Director of Talent and Art Unit Curriculum and Arts Education Ministry of Malaysia.
