OUR ACTIVITY

PKKSSAAS serves as an entrusted entity to plan and conduct programmes related to culture and arts to the campus community and the nation.

 

1.0       ESTABLISHMENT OF ARTS AND CULTURAL GROUPS

 

Some of the arts and cultural activities organised:

• Dances
• Caklempong
• Gamelan
• Dikir Barat
• Theatre
• Modern Bands
• Traditional Music
• Tetuang
• Kompang

 

These activities reflect PKKSSAAS efforts to discover new talents among UPM staff.

2.0       ORGANISATION OF ARTS AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES

 

PKKSSAAS is committed to organising cultural and arts programmes in order to achieve its goal to maintain and expand culture and arts, to diversify cultural arts activities to all levels of campus residents and local community, to disseminate information on cultural arts to the public both in the country and abroad, and to provide conducive arts and cultural facilities as well as advisory services to campus residents and the local community.

• Budi @ Seni Town Hall 2019 (a collaboration programme between JKKN and PKKSSAAS, UPM)

• Prison Malaysia Theatre Competition 2019 (a collaboration programme between Department of Prison and PKKSSAAS, UPM)
